My work expresses a dynamic interplay between the exterior and interior
space of the human figure. By representing this form as a hollow shell, my
intentions are to provoke feelings of unease through the realization of the
innate fragility and impermanence of the human body. These ideas are
further strengthened through the use of primarily natural, transitory or
delicate materials.
